Recipe: BBQ Chicken

6) BBQ Chicken (relatively cheap).
Buy legs or thighs (basically cheapest available chicken).
Marinate in bbq sauce, olive oil, garlic salt,paprika a teaspoon of brown sugar (more if you like your BBQ chicken sweet) overnight.
Put in a glass baking pan or cookie sheet if former not available..
Bake for 45 minutes at 350 degrees

  1. This Barbeque chix recipe looks v. tasty! I shall have to give it a try. My frugal meals have included porridge for breakfast, hard-boiled egg and grapefruit for second breakfast, toast with peanut butter and banana with side of yogurt or cottage cheese for first snack, cheese and apple for second snack, rice with lentil pilaf (so very cheap, and extra tasty if made Persian style with turmeric potato crust)and an orange for dessert for first supper, and then meat with two veg for second supper every second evening.
